Business Analyst – Australia

Location: Australia

The Business Analyst will play a key role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technical solutions. This position focuses on understanding stakeholder needs, analyzing processes, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, performance, and value across the organization in the Australian market.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and analyze business requirements to support system enhancements and process improvements

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success metrics

• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, performance issues, and opportunities for optimization

• Prepare detailed business documentation including process maps, user stories, and functional specifications

• Support solution design by aligning business requirements with technical feasibility

• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and communication between cross-functional teams

• Perform gap analyses and recommend data-driven solutions for operational efficiency

• Assist in testing, validation, and post-implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline

• 2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role

• Strong understanding of business processes and project lifecycle management

• Proficiency in data visualization and analysis tools such as Power BI, Excel, or SQL

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
