A high-tech company leading the network security field, focused on delivering a state-of-the-art SASE platform. The role includes defining and developing the architectural vision across cloud-native and on-premise components, and leading key design discussions and decisions throughout the R&D organization.
Responsibilities include driving hands-on participation in strategic architectural initiatives and leading POCs, ensuring alignment between the architecture, product strategy, and business objectives.
The position also involves promoting best practices in performance, scalability, and security, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to maintain architectural consistency. The company is located in Tel Aviv near a train station and offers a hybrid work model with two days working from home.
Qualifications-
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or related field.
- 5 years in a senior/principal architect role.
- Deep hands-on experience in system architecture and distributed design.
- Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS required, GCP/Azure a plus).
- Knowledge in networking protocols and cloud network architecture is an advantage.
- Proven ability to design scalable microservices-based systems.
- Understanding of CI/CD workflows and DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluent in English – written and spoken
