System Engineer

A pioneering biotechnology company in the medical device sector, specializing in the development of innovative devices for rapid and accurate blood testing.

Its flagship device is FDA-approved and is currently used in medical institutions worldwide, primarily in clinics, emergency rooms, and nursing homes. The technology provides significant advantages in speed, convenience, and accuracy without the need for a central laboratory.

The company employs approximately 100 people, and the role is office-based in Northern Israel.

Responsibilities:

• Leading systems engineering activities for new product development.
• Defining product requirements and planning system-level experiments.
• Conducting experiments and analyzing resulting data.
• Defining and reviewing testing procedures.
• Performing product performance validation and verification.
• Investigating product failures and identifying root causes.
• Developing and implementing tools for manufacturing, quality control, and performance monitoring.
• Collaborating closely with software, algorithms, mechanical, and electronics teams.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering / Computer Science / Physics from a recognized university (M.Sc. preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in system engineering in a multidisciplinary environment (software, algorithms, mechanics, electronics)
• Proven experience in data analysis, statistical analysis, preparing reports, and proposing
• data-driven solutions
• Hands-on experimentalist with strong troubleshooting skills
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
