Join the Aircraft Upgrades & Conversions plant at IAI’s Aviation Division, where we develop advanced cyber defense solutions for airborne mission computers and embedded hardware systems.
What you’ll do
- Define cybersecurity requirements for airborne hardware platforms and embedded systems
- Lead system design reviews (PDR, CDR) focused on hardware-level protection
- Develop and execute integration and validation tests in lab and onboard aircraft
- Write and analyze test plans for both lab and flight environments
- Support the full lifecycle of cyber defense systems from development to operational deployment
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external stakeholders including customers and subcontractors
What we’re looking for
- B.Sc. in Aeronautical, Computer, or Electrical Engineering
- M.Sc. in Systems Engineering – an advantage
- Proven experience in cybersecurity for embedded hardware or airborne systems
- Knowledge of secure hardware interfaces and embedded protection mechanisms
- Familiarity with avionics standards and airborne platforms – strong advantage
- Background in the Israeli Air Force (e.g., avionics engineering, flight testing, techno-operational roles) – an advantage
- CISM or CISSP certification – an advantage
- Proficiency in technical English

This role focuses on developing cyber protection for airborne embedded systems. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team building hardware-level defense mechanisms, including secure data flow components like Baudels, to safeguard mission-critical avioni
