Information Security & Infrastructure Operations Lead (23915)

Job Description:

• Lead the infrastructure and information security domain within the IT & Communications team.
• Plan, manage, and implement organization-wide communication and cybersecurity solutions.
• Ongoing management of Firewall systems (Check Point / Fortinet): configuration (CLI & GUI), policy management, VPN setup and maintenance, traffic and security analysis, troubleshooting, and more.
• Network traffic analysis and monitoring, identifying and handling security incidents in real time.
• Operation and maintenance of WAF systems, ensuring robust protection for enterprise applications.
• Working with monitoring and analytics tools – log analysis, anomaly detection, and cyber incident response.
• Managing PKI infrastructures, including digital certificates and CA servers.
• Planning and implementing security policies and system hardening practices.
• Collaboration with development, DevOps, support, and cybersecurity teams to ensure a secure and resilient environment.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience in information security and data communications in a mid-to-large organization (1,000+ users, 3+ sites).
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols and architecture, including OSI Layers, TCP/IP, DNS, ARP, DHCP, static and dynamic routing, subnetting, etc.
• Expertise in Check Point or Fortinet Firewall systems – both CLI and GUI environments.
• Experience with F5 products (LTM, ASM, APM) – a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies – Azure, Kubernetes (K8S), OpenShift (OCP) – an advantage.
• Scripting/automation experience in Python – an advantage.
• Experience working with APIs for system automation and management – an advantage.
• Hands-on knowledge of PKI infrastructures – an advantage.
• Proven experience managing and maintaining Web Application Firewalls (WAFs).
• Understanding of cyber incident response processes, including log analysis and anomaly detection.
• Strong ability to design and implement advanced security policies and rules.
