Cyber Threat Intelligence & Research Analyst (23909)

Job Description:

• Conduct cyber research and ongoing intelligence reviews as part of the Threat Research Team.
• Perform daily reviews and monitoring of active cyber threat groups.
• Create intelligence collection requirements (ICRs) to support in-depth investigations.
• Conduct threat and attack research, including open-source (OSINT) and Darknet investigations on organizations, incidents, and threat actors.
• Perform social media analysis and monitor emerging cyber trends and breaking news.
• Correlate and verify information from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and derive actionable insights.
• Analyze data and produce intelligence-based summary reports.
• Use dedicated research tools and develop new investigative capabilities.
• Develop automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks and improve research efficiency.
• Participate in intelligence briefings and present findings.

Additionally, the role includes:

• Preparing penetration testing (PT) plans for organizations, including:
• Studying organizational systems and networks prior to testing.
• Conducting preparatory meetings with IT and security teams.
• Preparing test documentation and execution plans.
• Performing manual and automated penetration tests according to standard PT methodologies.
• Developing an internal PT tools repository.
• Executing infrastructure penetration tests and network research.
• Writing comprehensive reports and recommendations for mitigating findings.
• Applying and adhering to relevant cybersecurity standards.

Requirements:

• Relevant academic background.
• At least 3 years of experience in similar roles.
• Proven experience in cyber research, threat analysis, OSINT, Darknet investigations, and tracking threat groups.
• Experience conducting penetration and resilience tests (PT).
• Deep understanding of information security technologies and vulnerability exploitation.
• Strong analytical skills, with proven ability to write professional reports and draw conclusions from multi-source information.
• Proficiency with cyber research and investigation tools and methodologies.
