Director of Data Science & AI

We’re looking for a strategic and visionary leader to drive our Data Science & AI strategy -

turning data into actionable business insights and scalable AI-driven solutions that deliver measurable growth.

As the Director of Data Science & AI, you’ll define and execute the company’s AI and data strategy, leading both the business impact and the people behind it.

You will build and guide a world-class data organization - fostering innovation, ownership, and collaboration - while ensuring AI is embedded across our products, operations, and decision-making processes.

You’ll partner closely with senior leaders across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Business to transform data into a competitive advantage and create tangible value for customers and the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the vision, strategy, and execution of Data Science & AI initiatives across the organization.
• Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing multidisciplinary team of data scientists, ML engineers, and analysts.
• Foster a culture of learning, curiosity, and accountability, ensuring team members grow both technically and professionally.
• Translate complex data insights into strategic recommendations that drive measurable business outcomes.
• Collaborate with executives to identify and prioritize AI opportunities aligned with company goals.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of AI projects -from concept to deployment - ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance.
• Establish data governance, best practices, and ethical AI frameworks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of leadership experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI (preferably in tech or eCommerce).
• Proven success leading teams and managers, with a strong track record of developing talent and fostering collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver AI solutions that drive clear business results.
• Deep expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and data analytics.
• Strategic thinker with hands-on capabilities when needed.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills - able to inspire teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong commitment to data quality, governance, and responsible AI.
