The company is a fast-growing startup whose platform combines FinTech, AI, and Automation technologies to provide data-driven risk analysis, management, and assessment solutions for financial institutions. It has developed an asset-backed real estate loan marketplace that connects developers with lenders, featuring advanced Underwriting, Fraud Detection, and Risk Scoring technology.

Recent partnerships enable loan origination and resale to lenders, accelerating business growth.

Located in Tel Aviv near the train station, the company has 26 employees (14 in development), offers two days of remote work per week, is fully funded with a two-year runway, and is expanding rapidly following a strategic partnership with BlackRock.

The role-

• Provides full technological leadership of development and innovation, including defining the roadmap and implementing the engineering vision.
• Recruits, builds, and grows teams, with significant expansion expected over the next two years.
• Manages approximately 10 direct reports across three teams (two Full Stack teams and one QA team), split between Europe and Israel.
• Oversees Backend, Frontend, DevOps, AI, QA, and Automation, establishing processes, best practices, and ensuring code quality and production reliability.
• Hands-on role including code review, deep understanding of system architecture, and solving complex technical challenges.
• Full technical ownership of system architecture, including integrating innovative AI/LLM solutions, leading CI/CD pipelines, and managing Infrastructure as Code across DigitalOcean, AWS, and GCP.
• Key technologies: TypeScript, Node.js, React, TanStack, Python, YOLO, CLIP, AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean, CI/CD, and LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic).
• Reports to the Chief Product Officer, the senior-most function in Israel.

Requirements-

• Mandatory hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript, with 4+ years of practical, hands-on development.
• 7 years of senior leadership experience in technical roles, including team management and cross-stack ownership.
• 7 years of experience in startups within FinTech or Fraud Detection—this is mandatory.
• Proven track record in full-stack development and CI/CD pipeline management.
• Experience architecting, deploying, and monitoring AI-driven solutions using LLMs and computer vision models (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, YOLO, CLIP).
• Strong understanding of security and compliance, including data protection, secure API integrations, and adherence to standards such as SOC2.
• Hands-on leadership of DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud deployment strategy across DigitalOcean, AWS, and GCP.
• Experience defining and enforcing processes and best practices to ensure quality, efficiency, and reliability.
• Strong skills in React, TanStack, and Tailwind CSS.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or a relevant technical field.
