Chief Financial Officer

Finatal is partnering with a private equity sponsor to appoint a Chief Financial Officer for a ~$150M revenue food manufacturing business in Winston Salem, North Carolina.

This is a hands-on, high-impact opportunity for an operational CFO to lead finance in a complex manufacturing environment, partnering with the CEO and private equity sponsor to improve margins and prepare the business for exit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strengthen and professionalize the finance function (people, processes, systems) to improve operational efficiency and drive growth
• Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure the business's financial stability and to optimize capital allocation
• Collaborate with the executive team and sponsor to develop short- and long-term financial strategy aligned with the investment thesis
• Partner with the Executive Leadership team, PE sponsor, and cross-departmentally

Requirements:

• Extensive experience with identifying and driving operational efficiencies in complex manufacturing environments
• Experience managing high-performing finance and accounting teams
• Strong FP&A / analytical background
• Foundational experience in audit / accounting
• Hands-on, collaborative leadership style with the ability to work closely across operational teams
• Based in Winston Salem metro area or willing to relocate
• (Preferred) Private equity experience
• (Preferred) Experience with Power BI
