Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Beer Sheva is currently seeking applicants for an R&D Technician. As an R&D Technician, you will be responsible for executing and promoting technical R&D tasks and related activities & shopfloor, including producing test lots, tracking and expediting ongoing tests, providing measurements data and processing it and managing R&D’s laboratory and samples\RM storage.

Beer Sheva is the capital of the Negev, located in Southern Israel.

The factory in Beer Sheva was established in 1996 in the “Emek Sarah” industrial area and has over 1,000 employees. Vishay Resistors are embedded in various industries: Automotive, Telecom, Computers, Medical, Military, etc.

What Will You Do

• Execute and promote research and development projects at the shopfloor by either producing Engineering lots, expediting them through process steps or by generating, processing and arranging relevant data
• Advise R&D Engineers along the planning and execution phases of tests regarding shopfloor’s constraints and capabilities
• Be responsible for the R&D laboratory, including operating lab equipment such as microscopes and measurement devices
• Manage R&D’s samples stock and raw-material inventory
  
  

What Will You Bring Along

• Proven experience as a front-end operator (screen printing).
• Experience with processing Engineering lots and working with Engineering documents (TEPAs)
• Acquaintance with Excell and experience with creating tables and graphs
• Tidiness in both work environment and written records
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Languages: Hebrew – verbal and written ; English - read
