RESPONSIBILITY

• Creating and developing correct setups in the SAP systems together with IT and the business with respect to VAT (compliance).
• Provide ideas to further increase and secure the correctness of the VAT data and compliance in the SAP system.
• Coordinate external advisors concerning VAT compliance.
• Collaborating on a daily basis with the EMEA Senior Tax Specialist, VAT Compliance Lead (based in Morocco) under the supervision Group VAT Manager – Europe (based in Romania) on VAT compliance processes in various EMEA countries.
• Maintaining close exchange with the treasury function, accounting function, the business units, and the internal control function.
• Willingness to also provide support (from time to time) in other tax areas such as corporate income tax, tax reporting, transfer pricing, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English.
• Previous experience of at least 1 years in the tax and/or accounting landscape.
• Previous experience in international tax environment is desired (preferred).
• Education with a fiscal background, focusing on VAT/taxation (advantage).
• High affinity for SAP/ERP systems; SAP knowledge is preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, with Excel being a must.
• Organized and structured in your ways of working.
• Blended passion for VAT/Taxes and technology.
• Personality: convincing, open-minded person who communicates appreciatively

and values teamwork.
