Senior System Analyst

🚨 We’re Hiring: System Analyst – Government Office, Jerusalem 🇮🇱

We are looking for highly skilled System Analysts to join a major government technology department in Jerusalem. These roles involve working on core organizational systems, participating in large-scale projects, and collaborating closely with internal teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders.

• Analyze complex end-to-end business processes

• Prepare detailed functional & technical specifications

• Create API specification documents

• Design and review database structures (ERD)

• Work closely with development teams and external vendors

• Collaborate with UX/UI teams

• Review spec documents, prepare development packages, and supervise acceptance tests

• Handle client requirements, manage clarifications, and ensure full alignment

• Participate in Agile/Scrum project cycles

• Work independently under tight deadlines when required

✔ System Analysis certification

PLUS one of the following:

• Software Engineering Practical Engineer

• B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering & Management (Information Systems specialization)

• B.Sc. in Software Engineering

• Any Bachelor's degree + 300+ hours of advanced IT/IS studies

• OR no degree + 400 hours of advanced information systems training

Advantage: formal training in System Analysis

• 6+ years of experience as a System Analyst

• Proven experience writing functional & technical specification documents

• Strong experience in analyzing complex business workflows

• Experience working with relational databases, SQL, and designing ERD models

• Experience writing API specs

• Hands-on work with Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Experience in financial systems – advantage

• Ability to self-learn complex business domains

• Experience working with AI tools – advantage
