Project Manager

IDR is seeking a Project Manager to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Denver, CO. This role involves leading IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and schedule within a dynamic environment. The company operates within the technology and IT service industry, focusing on project execution and governance.

Position Overview for the Project Manager:

• Serve as the central project owner, executing all tasks necessary to ensure project alignment with approved scope, budget, and schedule
• Establish and manage the complete project record, including creating detailed project schedules and ensuring budget accuracy
• Lead requirements gathering workshops to capture comprehensive business and technical requirements for the project
• Coordinate with security and disaster recovery teams to confirm scope and compliance
• Monitor project execution, track progress, and communicate status to stakeholders proactively

Requirements for the Project Manager:

• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive IT project management experience
• Deep working knowledge of formal Project Management Life Cycles (PMLC), stage-gate governance, and project estimation principles
• Strong understanding of IT domains such as ERP, Cloud/Security, and Legacy Modernization
• PMP certification is preferred
• Experience overseeing projects from inception to completion and managing all phases including planning, execution, and closure
