Business Applications Manager

Atera is looking for a skilled and proactive Business Applications Manager to join our business applications team. You will be working with our Revenue, Marketing and Support departments. One of your main roles would be to lead and optimize our Tech Support systems and workflows. You’ll work closely with our business stakeholders, Ops and data teams to deliver seamless experiences for both internal teams and Atera customers.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Business Applications partner for Atera’s GTM and Tech Support teams, understanding their needs and translating them into scalable system solutions.
• Own and optimize Atera’s support systems including Salesforce, Zendesk, Gong, Chilipiper, ZoomInfo, HubSpot and integrations with internal tools and external platforms
• Lead end-to-end system projects, from requirements gathering and process design to configuration, automation, testing, and enablement
• Manage the integration of a variety of tools and systems, ensuring data flows and customer journeys are seamless and measurable
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports that monitor team performance, customer satisfaction, and support trends
• Troubleshoot system issues, support user requests, and ensure data integrity across platforms, including Support, Sales, Finance, RevOps, Product, HR, etc
• Drive AI adoption across the company, including implementing AI workflows and enabling teams to use them effectively.
  
  

• 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Salesforce - a must
• Strong experience with Salesforce configuration (custom objects, flows, validation rules, reports/dashboards, APEX, etc.)
• Experience with Tech Support systems such as Zendesk, Salesforce Service Cloud, or ServiceNow - a big advantage
• Proven experience in system configuration, automation, and integrations (custom triggers, webhooks, APIs, etc.)
• Familiarity with integration (Workato, n8n, Zapier, Make) and API integrations - Must
• Experience in a B2B SaaS company - an advantage
• Analytical mindset and ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Excellent project management, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate cross-functionally
• Experience with AI technologies and business process optimization - an advantage.
