System Integrator

About the Company: flō is a tech startup, developing a new digital printing technology for coatings of optical lenses. We`re looking for a highly motivated system integrator to join us in our journey to lead the Eyewear Manufacturing Industry. This position requires working in shifts, and traveling for field support from time to time as needed. This role will report to flō integration team leader.

Responsibilities:

• Build, test, and maintain a variety of equipment and systems.
• Operating machines and development tools.
• Utilize your expertise in mechanical assembly, electronics, and wiring to fabricate, troubleshoot, and repair components.
• Conduct experiments and tests following established protocols.
• Assist senior researchers with ongoing projects, contributing to the success of our R&D efforts.
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
• Document procedures and keep accurate records for future reference and project continuity.
• Document experimental work, analyze results, and provide technical insights and recommendations as a key contributor within the R&D team.
• Work closely with R&D groups, including Chemistry, Mechanics, System and Automation teams.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience of at least 3 years in systems integration/maintenance.
• Skills in mechanical assembly, electronics, and wiring, including the use of measuring instruments.
• A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing environments.
• Flexibility to work additional hours when necessary and travel abroad if required.
• Experience as a technician in the army - an advantage.

Required Skills:

• Inkjet industry background - an advantage.
• Expertise in designing, planning, and analyzing experiments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
• Working experience in multidisciplinary teams (Chemistry, Mechanics, System and Automation).
