Information Technology Manager

Malam Team is looking for a strong, experienced leader to take full ownership of an IT and Software operation at one of the largest government organizations in Israel.

This role includes managing outsourced activities on-site, leading team managers across multiple technological domains, and serving as the strategic connection between the customer and Malam Team. The position requires excellent leadership, relationship management, and the ability to navigate complex, cross-organizational environments.

About this role:

• Full responsibility for critical IT systems and infrastructure on-site
• Managing and overseeing multiple technical teams (via their direct managers), including infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, support, technicians, development, and project management
• Leading significant technological initiatives and digital transformation projects
• Working closely with senior stakeholders within the government organization
• Representing Malam Team on-site and ensuring service excellence and partnership alignment

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
• 3-4 years of proven experience in a similar role within a medium/large organization (500+ users)
• Demonstrated experience in managing teams and motivating employees, preferably through team leaders or department managers
• Experience working with or within public sector / government organizations - strong advantage
• Strategic mindset, strong communication skills, assertiveness, and the ability to lead complex processes in a matrix environment
