Project Management Officer

Job Description

• Annual planning of the work plan and performing controls during the planning
• Quarterly planning of the work plan, performing controls during the planning, planning versus execution in implementing the plan, and monitoring quarterly metrics
• Monitoring and control of work plan implementation
• Monitoring and control of project and unit budget utilization
• Ongoing prioritization of tasks in the work plan
• Assistance in planning projects and resources
• Collection, consolidation, and control of all project aspects (risks, budgets, resources, and more)
• Identification and escalation of significant issues to relevant stakeholders
• Reflecting project and/or portfolio status for control and monitoring functions, including senior management
• Implementation of cross-functional and professional processes and tools in project management within the project team

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree – Industrial Engineering and Management / Technology Management: specialization in Project Management / Information Systems / Economics and Management - required
• 6 years of experience working as a PMO in a large organization - required
• Experience in project management/PMO in the software development field - required
• Experience from a financial organization - required
• Experience working with Agile methodology - required
• Full proficiency in Excel (use of complex formulas, PIVOT) - required
• Familiarity with JIRA system – significant advantage
• Experience in quarterly planning for development units – significant advantage
• Ability to train and implement project management systems and PPM – advantage
• Familiarity with My Single Point system – advantage
• Familiarity with development methodologies, such as SCRUM / Kanban / Scaled Agile – advantage
• Building and managing Gantt-based work plans – advantage
• Familiarity with the financial and banking world for the purpose of performing budget control for projects – advantage
• English at a high level – writing, speaking, and reading - significant advantage
