UCT is looking for a talented Buyer II to join us in Israel!

The Buyer II is responsible for the strategic procurement and supply chain management of raw materials, with a focus on metals such as stainless steel, copper, and aluminum. This role ensures timely, cost-effective sourcing from global suppliers, oversees shipment coordination, and maintains accurate ERP data. The Buyer II supports production schedules through proactive inventory and delivery management, contributing to operational efficiency and cost control across international procurement operations.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Supply Chain & Raw Materials Buyer.
• Direct procurement and management of Raw Materials Procurement Local & Overseas as multiple Global interfaces.
• Overseas procurement and handling of shipping issues, coordination of shipments and delivery tracking.
• Experience working with SAP system.
• Responsible for managing the supply chain of raw materials, including metals such as stainless steel, copper, aluminium, and others.
  
  

• End-to-end procurement of raw materials, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing.
• Supplier and manufacturer communication, primarily in English, to coordinate orders and resolve issues.
• Monitoring and updating ERP systems to reflect order status, delivery dates, and inventory levels.
• Monthly price list updates and market tracking to ensure competitive purchasing.
• Managing shipments according to the production schedule, including expeditions, postponing, and updating delivery timelines.
  
  

• Industrial Engineering or BA in business administration.
• Familiar with global commercial (Import / Export) Incoterms.
  
  

• Extensive experience in raw materials procurement, including metals and industrial supplies.
• Mandatory experience in overseas procurement, including supplier identification, negotiation, and logistics coordination.
• Strong background in inventory management systems, ensuring accurate tracking and timely replenishment.
• Skilled in supplier negotiations and contract management, achieving cost savings and long-term partnerships.
• Comprehensive understanding of import procedures, including customs regulations, documentation, and freight coordination.
• Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills for effective interaction with global suppliers and manufacturers.
• Experienced in SAP ERP systems, including procurement modules and reporting tools.
• Responsible for supply chain oversight, including tracking deliveries, updating systems, managing price lists monthly, and ensuring alignment with production schedules.
• Capable of managing delivery timelines, including advancing, postponing, and updating supply dates as needed.
