Backend Team Lead

As the Backend Team Lead, you will lead a talented team of backend engineers, driving the design, development, and scalability of Adaptive6’s core services and infrastructure.

You’ll be both a hands-on technical leader and a mentor, ensuring best practices, architectural excellence, and smooth delivery of complex features in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of backend engineers, fostering technical excellence and collaboration.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs.
• Define architecture and ensure code quality, performance, and security.
• Work closely with Product and Frontend teams to deliver end-to-end features.
• Drive adoption of engineering best practices and continuous improvement.
• Participate in technical strategy, design reviews, and hands-on development.
• Help recruit, onboard, and develop top engineering talent.

REQUIREMENTS

4+ years of backend engineering experience with modern programming languages (e.g., Go, Python).

2+ years as backend Team Leader

Strategic thinker who can deconstruct complex problems and deliver pragmatic, scalable solutions.

Solid track record designing and implementing distributed systems using microservices and cloud-native patterns.

Background with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Background in building large-scale B2B SaaS systems on public cloud infrastructure.

Self-driven, curious, and takes initiative.
