About the Role: We are a fast-moving startup developing sophisticated industrial equipment platforms and are seeking a Senior Process Researcher to join our cross-disciplinary R&D team. The role involves leading the development and optimization of process technologies, designing and executing experiments, and driving innovation in a complex, multidisciplinary environment. The position requires proven experience in inkjet systems, digital printing, and drying processes, with strong expertise in fluid on surface dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Research Expertise

• Design, plan, and analyze experiments to characterize physical parameters, qualify process materials, and improve process stability and scalability.
• Develop, optimize, and validate process technologies for inkjet, digital printing, and drying processes.
• Document experimental work, analyze results, and provide technical insights and recommendations as a key contributor within the R&D team.
• Develop and implement system improvements and modifications.
• Manage multiple research activities and priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Lead end-to-end development of multidisciplinary R&D projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new processes into product development.
• Work closely with R&D groups, including Chemistry, Mechanics, System and Automation teams, to ensure alignment with process requirements and project goals.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in process research and development or multidisciplinary product development.

Technical Skills

• Proven expertise in inkjet technology, digital printing, drying, and process characterization, combined with expertise in fluid on surface dynamics.
• Expertise in designing, planning, and analyzing experiments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
• Working experience in multidisciplinary teams (Chemistry, Mechanics, Systems and Automation).
