Software Engineering Technical Leader - CX (Hybrid)

Meet the Team

We are a highly skilled backend group building and maintaining the core services that drive our platform. We collaborate closely with other engineering, SRE, and product teams to deliver robust and innovative solutions. As a technical leader, you will help define the group’s architectural vision, mentor engineers, and lead high-impact initiatives. In addition, you may take on product ownership for key backend domains - shaping product vision, defining priorities and roadmaps, and ensuring strong alignment between technical solutions and business goals.

Your Impact

• You will play a key technical leadership role, including: Leading design, architecture, and implementation of critical backend system
• Defining technical direction and influencing long-term architectural strategy
• Partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals
• Acting as a technical lead and product owner for selected backend domains - shaping product vision, defining roadmaps, and ensuring alignment between technical delivery and business priorities
• Partnering with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable engineering plans and leading their execution end-to-end
• Ensuring systems meet high standards of scalability, reliability, and performance
• Guiding engineers through design and code reviews, and fostering engineering excellence
• Driving innovation, automation, and adoption of best practices across the organization
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with 8+ years of related experience
• Extensive experience designing and building large-scale distributed backend systems
• Strong expertise in backend technologies (Python, NodeJS, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects from design to deployment

• Proven experience leading architecture initiatives and mentoring development teams
• Deep understanding of performance optimization, reliability, and scalability principles
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills
• Experience defining product direction and managing technical backlogs in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Ability to balance product goals with technical constraints, ensuring high-impact, high-quality delivery
• Ability to influence without authority and drive alignment on technical decisions
