The RF Algorithms team is seeking a talented and motivated RF Algorithms Development Engineer to join our development of advanced RF systems for airborne applications.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop RF algorithms and system models for advanced radar and communication systems.
- Simulate, design, and analyze algorithms in MATLAB, including adaptation for FPGA implementation (RTL).
- Work with RF hardware such as LNA, PA, SDR, and Front-End systems – perform calibration, integration, and validation.
- Conduct lab and field experiments, analyze data, and prepare technical documentation and design specifications.
- Define and test hardware and software interfaces, including real-time algorithm validation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout system development and integration phases.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering - mandatory.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in RF algorithm development.
- Hands-on experience in Verilog or VHDL for FPGA implementation - mandatory.
- Strong background in communication systems, digital signal processing, and RF architectures.
- Proven experience with MATLAB for simulation, analysis, and modeling.
- Practical experience in developing and debugging algorithms in real systems.
- Team player with strong analytical and technical writing skills.
Advantages
- Experience implementing algorithms on FPGA platforms.
- Familiarity with CCSDS or DVB-S2 protocols.
- Experience with digital interfaces (RS232, I2C, SPI, Ethernet).
- Knowledge of embedded processors (MicroBlaze, NIOS, RISC-V, ARM).
- Experience writing C or C++ code for embedded systems.
