proteanTecs is looking for a DevOps Director to lead and scale our DevOps and SRE teams. This role blends strategic leadership with deep technical expertise — ensuring our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and production environments are reliable, secure, and cost-efficient. You’ll define our DevOps vision, drive automation, and evolve our observability, scalability, and release practices.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor DevOps and SRE engineers across multiple locations.
• Define the roadmap for infrastructure, automation, reliability, and cost optimization.
• Partner with R&D, QA, and Product teams to enable smooth, scalable, and continuous delivery.
• Oversee cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring performance and cost efficiency.
• Manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Helm for Kubernetes deployments.
• Own CI/CD pipelines built with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
• Lead observability, monitoring, and incident management using Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK.
• Ensure compliance, security, and best practices across infrastructure and operations.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, including 3+ years in leadership.
• Proven expertise with Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD, and GitHub Actions.
• Strong background in AWS, Azure and GCP are a plus.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK).
• Knowledge of Vault, container security, and infrastructure cost management.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and team-building skills.
• Experience in large-scale SaaS or data-intensive environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with Tableau, Keycloak (OIDC), Apache Flink, ElasticSearch, Vertica, and hybrid cloud environments is a plus.
