Mertens - MalamTeam is hiring a Backup and Storage Specialist for a leading organization in Central Israel
Role Overview:
A hands-on infrastructure position responsible for managing enterprise backup and storage environments, supporting critical systems, and ensuring data availability and integrity across large-scale platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain enterprise backup solutions such as Commvault, TSM, NetBackup, Networker, and Rubrik.
- Perform database and virtual environment backups and restores (SQL Server, Exchange, Oracle, VMware).
- Deploy and manage central storage systems including HITACHI, IBM, EMC, and NetApp.
- Conduct performance tuning, design complex storage architectures, and manage SAN environments (Brocade/Cisco).
- Work across Windows, Linux, UNIX, and VMware ESX environments.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in backup and storage systems.
- Experience with Object Storage platforms is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, quick learning ability, and a methodical work approach.
- Proven teamwork skills and experience supporting internal stakeholders.
- Good technical English for documentation and support.
