Backend Developer - Maternity Leave Replacement (9 month)

As a Backend Developer, you will contribute to the development of new features and enhancements for our core infrastructure. You’ll work closely with senior developers and cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-performance backend systems. This role is ideal for a developer with solid Java experience who is eager to grow, learn, and make an impact in a dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and maintain backend features based on product requirements.
• Contribute to infrastructure improvements to support scalability and performance.
• Participate in design discussions and code reviews with guidance from senior team members.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of customer issues.

You’ll Do It Using:

• 3–5 years of experience as a backend java developer.
• Solid proficiency in Java and familiarity with performance optimization.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle; advantage: JPA/Hibernate).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (advantage: AWS services like EC2, S3).
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Experience with tools like Jboss, PostgreSQL, and Oracle DB is beneficial.
