R&D Mechanical Engineer – Innovative Medical Devices

We are looking for an experienced and motivated R&D Mechanical Engineer to join our team! This is a key role involving the design, development, and testing of innovative medical devices.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical components, sub-systems, and complete systems in accordance with functional and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct and analyze mechanical and system-level testing.
• Lead and support development projects.
• Provide technical support to Manufacturing, Quality, and R&D teams.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Systems Engineers, and QA Engineers throughout the design and design freeze process.
• Prepare technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and change records.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in the design and development of invasive medical devices – a significant advantage.
• Experience working in cross-functional environments (R&D, QA, Manufacturing).
• Proficiency in mechanical CAD software (SolidWorks).
• Familiarity with medical device quality and regulatory standards.
