R&D Manager-AI Solutions

We are seeking a hands-on R&D Manager to lead the development of a state-of-the-art, AI-driven on-premise enterprise software product.

This position requires a strong technical leader who codes daily, understands enterprise software design, and can balance innovation with practical delivery.

In this role, you will work closely with the CTO to translate advanced research and architectural vision into a robust, production-ready platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute directly to the product’s codebase-design, prototype, and implement key components. Ensure high performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Work side-by-side with the CTO to transform ML research and architectural concepts into real-world, deployable software.
• Participate in technical design reviews, model integration planning, and product-level decisions.
• Define and implement a modular, secure, and efficient architecture suitable for on-prem enterprise deployments with limited or no cloud access
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to embed trained models (TTS, LLMs) into the product, optimizing for on-prem execution and resource constraints.
• Build, mentor, and manage a small, elite engineering team. Set coding standards, establish review processes, and foster a culture of technical excellence and ownership.
• Lead the setup of build pipelines, automated testing, packaging, and deployment processes for on-prem distribution (e.g., installers, containers, upgrade paths).
• Partner with the various stake-holders to align technical execution with customer requirements and deployment realities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. (Advanced degree a plus).
• 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership or R&D management role.
• Proven record of delivering complex on-premise enterprise applications or hybrid solutions.
• Deep knowledge of system design, distributed architecture, and security.
• Experience integrating AI/ML models into production environments (Advantage).
• Familiarity with LLMs, speech-to-text, summarization, or AI-assistant technologies (Advantage).
• Background in telecom/communication/collaboration (Advantage).
