DRS RADA is a global pioneer of RADAR systems for active military protection, counter-drone applications, critical infrastructure protection and border surveillance. We are looking for Purchasing Manager.
Job Description:
- Manage the tactical procurement team (order approvals, measure OTD, deliveries, returns).
- Oversee and control material arrivals and shortages in alignment with production work plans.
- Manage order confirmations track expected arrivals.
- Manage subcontractors in the mechanic’s field.
- Oversee materials for OBS (Obsolete) and EOL (End-of-Life) activities, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Implement and execute MRP recommendations for material postponement or advancement.
- Establish and develop advanced work methods.
- Reports to the Supply Chain Manager.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree in Economics or Industrial Engineering and Management or matching experiance.
- At least 5 years of experience working with suppliers and subcontractors.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in an manufacturing organization. Significant advantage for experience from defense companies.
- Experience working with Priority – an advantage.
- High-level English – mandatory.
- Ability to work in a team, proactiveness and "can do approach”.
- Good communication skills and negotiation abilities.
