Job Description

We are looking for a motivated, Experienced Backend Developer to join our innovative Data Science team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of cutting-edge projects where you’ll not only build, maintain, and optimize software solutions, but also actively contribute to the development of advanced AI and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions.In this role, you’ll collaborate with data scientists and analysts to design scalable, efficient, and reliable systems that power our data-driven products and research initiatives. Your work will directly support the creation of intelligent applications, from backend infrastructure to AI-powered features, giving you hands-on experience at the intersection of software engineering and applied artificial intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions that enable data science workflows.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Python and other relevant technologies.
• Work collaboratively with data scientists, software developers, and data analysts to integrate models, analytics, and engineering solutions into production.
• Build and improve internal tools that support productivity, automation, and data-driven decision-making across the team.

Requirements

• 4+ years of proven experience in backend development
• Strong foundation in object-oriented design and system architecture
• Experience developing backend systems in a modern language (Python preferred)
• Solid experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and data modeling.
• Experience with REST APIs and async systems (Kafka, SQS, etc.)
• Familiarity with software development best practices, including version control (Git), CI/CD workflows, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• GPA > 85 from a leading university
• Fast learner, Enthusiastic, energetic, and hardworking
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Hands-on experience with AI and LLM-based systems - Advantage
