Mechanical Engineer

A leading defense company in the Shfela region is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join its Composite Materials & Processes Engineering Department - working on cutting-edge technologies that shape the future of aerospace and defense manufacturing.

🌟 What You’ll Do

• Lead transition from development to production, ensuring design feasibility and manufacturability.

• Define manufacturing and inspection processes to achieve optimal quality and efficiency.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams - engineering, procurement, production, assembly, and quality.

• Drive continuous improvement in production methods and cost optimization while maintaining knowledge and manufacturing excellence.

• Define production layouts, tools, and jigs; write work instructions using CAD tools; create specs and procedures.

• Lead PRR (Production Readiness Review) processes internally and with external customers.

• Support and guide production teams through first-article and serial manufacturing, including troubleshooting and training.

🎯 What We’re Looking For

• B.Sc. in Mechanical or Materials Engineering - Mandatory

• At least 3 years of experience working with composite materials - Mandatory

• Strong ability to read and interpret drawings and 3D models - Mandatory

• Proven experience with composite manufacturing technologies such as Wet Layup and/or Prepreg - Mandatory

• Familiarity with coating processes - Advantage
