Blockchain Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Smart Contract Engineer with strong expertise in Solidity and a proven track record of designing and deploying complex on-chain architectures. The ideal candidate will help lead the migration of an existing blockchain system from a Cosmos SDK-based architecture to a smart contract-based architecture on an EVM chain.

This is a full-time hybrid position, requiring three days per week on-site in Tel Aviv.

• Design and implement the new on-chain architecture to replace existing Cosmos SDK modules with smart contracts.
• Build modular, upgradeable, and secure smart contracts to manage staking, governance, rewards, and economic mechanisms.
• Collaborate with core engineering, DevOps, and product teams to ensure seamless integration between on-chain and off-chain components.
• Translate existing Cosmos logic (in Go) into efficient Solidity implementations.
• Participate in architectural decisions regarding scalability, upgradability, and security.
• Contribute to the design and simulation of tokenomics to ensure protocol sustainability.
• Document architecture, standards, and development processes clearly and consistently.

• 3+ years of professional experience in blockchain development, with 2+ years in Solidity.
• Proven experience designing and deploying production-grade smart contracts on EVM chains.
• Strong understanding of EVM internals, gas optimization, proxy patterns, and contract security best practices.
• Experience in Cosmos SDK or other blockchain frameworks, with the ability to map existing modules to Solidity equivalents.
• Strong understanding of on-chain governance, staking, and reward distribution mechanisms.
• Demonstrated experience in tokenomics design and implementation.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills in English.
