Accounting Operations Manager

Sounds exciting? Then keep reading because we’re on the hunt for a talented, experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Operations Manager to lead our accounting operations and ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting across the group.

This role combines hands-on accounting responsibilities with leadership and cross-functional collaboration, supporting both local and international entities under IFRS.

Reports to: VP Finance

Key Responsibilities

• Own company accounting under IFRS, ensuring compliance with all accounting standards and parent company policies.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting packages.
• Work closely with the VP Finance to manage the company’s financial risk framework, including the review and approval of new commercial engagements, and the development of policies, thresholds, and procedures for ongoing financial risk assessments.
• Managing the Collections function and drive process improvements to optimize cash inflows and reduce DSO.
• Lead the external and internal audit processes and serve as the primary contact with the parent company controller, external auditors, and foreign accountants.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of intercompany balances, including reconciliations and confirmations.
• Coordinate with the VP Finance and Tax advisors on corporate tax compliance.
• Support legal, compliance, and contractual matters in coordination with internal and external counsel.
• Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, and documentation to support scalability and control.
• Collaborate closely with the Financial Operations, FP&A, Operations and Data teams to align accounting and reporting processes.
• Drive automation, efficiency, and digitalization initiatives within the accounting operations domain (including Salesforce, and BI tools).
• Support ad-hoc projects such as new entity setups, system implementations, and M&A integrations.

Requirements

• CPA with Big 4 experience—a must.
• 3+ years of experience in controllership, accounting or financial reporting roles.
• Proven experience leading or coordinating audit processes and working with cross-border teams.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
• Proven ability to work hands-on while maintaining high standards of accuracy, rigor, and accountability.
• Experience with ERP systems – an advantage.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills coupled with a business-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Collaborative team player who can build strong working relationships.
• Experience managing and developing team members (or clear potential to do so) - strong advantage.
