Enterprise Resources Planning Manager

Mertens - MalamTeam is seeking an experienced ERP Department Manager to join a leading organization in Tel Aviv.

This is a strategic leadership role responsible for managing ERP systems, teams, budgets, and projects across multiple business domains.

Position Overview

The ERP Department Manager will oversee all activities related to the organization’s ERP system — including planning, development, implementation, and maintenance.

The role involves managing a multidisciplinary team of system analysts, ERP specialists, and trainers, ensuring effective delivery of ERP projects according to the organization’s annual work plan.

You will serve as the focal point for coordination between business stakeholders, IT leadership, and external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the ERP department, including analysts, system experts, and implementation staff.
• Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of ERP-related projects based on the annual roadmap.
• Ensure system maintenance, upgrades, and version management of the ERP and related systems.
• Coordinate requirements and system changes with internal clients and external vendors.
• Manage the department’s budget and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure, architecture, and technology leadership (CTO).
• Drive cross-departmental integration and process alignment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field — mandatory; Master’s degree — advantage.
• 5+ years of experience managing ERP systems in a large organization — mandatory.
• Proven experience leading ERP teams — mandatory.
• Strong understanding of ERP operations, governance, and change management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders in a complex enterprise environment.
