Collection & Billing Specialist

We are looking for a Billing and Collections Specialist to join our fast-growing company.

The ideal candidate will take full ownership of key billing and collections processes, contribute to exciting ongoing projects, and help ensure compliance with internal policies and standards—all while supporting the company’s efficient scaling. This position reports to the Billing & Collections Manager.

This role works closely with cross-functional teams, including Accounting, Legal, Sales, and Customer Success, to ensure accuracy, consistency, and effective collaboration across all billing and collection activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute global billing operations daily, including invoice issuance, system integrations review, and ensuring invoices are issued in accordance with Sales Order terms.
• Handle billing inquiries and correction requests promptly and accurately.
• Manage billing for Israeli customers, including familiarity with allotment numbers, VAT regulations, and local invoicing standards (an advantage).
• Enforce collection policies, track payments, and perform proactive follow-ups.
• Monitor customer accounts and aging reports to identify overdue balances and engage with customers to resolve outstanding payments in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain positive, professional relationships with customers while ensuring adherence to payment terms, company credit policies, and compliance standards.
• Support the development and execution of collection strategies aimed at optimizing cash flow and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with internal teams—Sales, Customer Success, Accounting, and Legal—to resolve billing discrepancies and continuously improve the collections process.
• Maintain accurate documentation of billing and collection activities and assist in generating reports and actionable insights for management.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities, leveraging tools like Tesorio, to enhance efficiency and scalability in billing and collections operations.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in billing and collections within a global SaaS or technology company.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite (ERP) and Salesforce (CRM) — required.
• Experience with Tesorio or similar AR automation platforms — an advantage.
• Strong understanding of collections processes, billing cycles, and subscription-based revenue models.
• Native-level English (written and spoken); Hebrew or experience working with Israeli customers — an advantage.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle customer interactions professionally and diplomatically.
• High attention to detail and accuracy; self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with collections forecasting, automation tools, and continuous improvement initiatives — a plus.
