Overhead Line Equipment (OHLE) Supervisor

Your mission

• Support and monitor the OHLE Project Manager (PM) and OHLE Construction Manager (CM) in managing on-site project activities: inputs, interfaces, permits, safety, quality, cost, and planning.
• Coordinate with the Quality Department to review QC forms and checklists before and after inspections.
• Survey partner works impacting CAF OHLE scope (track, poles, multi-duct) and prepare reports.
• Validate handover checklists with CM and PM for CAF OHLE scope start.
• Coordinate with other construction managers through the global project manager to optimize planning and costs.
• Inspect OHLE materials and supervise overall quality.
• Monitor technical risks, changes, and variation orders during the project.
• Daily monitoring of subcontractor resources and performance.
• Share feedback with the design team.
• Attend technical, administrative, and coordination meetings.
• Support testing, commissioning, and OHLE handover to the client/O&M.

 What do you need to succeed in this role?

• Education:
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree, or equivalent referenced experience.
• Experience:
  • At least 5 years of experience related to OHLE on-site works control.
• Skills:
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Methodical and organized approach.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, especially with subcontractors.
  • Ability to learn and grow in collaboration with CAF specialists while developing in large-scale field projects.
• Technical Knowledge:
  • Overhead line systems (preferably railway in urban environments), including assembly, testing, and safety.
  • Basic knowledge of regulations and mechanical calculations.
  • IT skills: Excel, Word, PDF.
  • AutoCAD file handling (at least open and extract information).
• English level: B2.
• Availability:
  • Night shifts and occasional travel.
