A highly significant managerial role supporting the VP of Information Systems, responsible for overseeing cross-organizational functions including annual work plans, budgeting, policy, and control processes.
We are seeking a senior managerial leader to drive the portfolio of the division’s annual work plan, with proven ability to influence and manage multiple stakeholders in a matrix environment.
Key Responsibilities
Work Plans
- Develop the annual work plan, including schedules, budget estimates, and preparation for management approval.
- Monitor and control the division’s annual portfolio (focusing on schedules, estimates, budget, and risk management).
- Manage internal communications regarding work plans, budget, and key events.
- Initiate and oversee regular work plan review routines, including the division’s annual work plan conference.
Additional Areas of Responsibility
- Track and monitor project steering committees across the division.
- Formulate the division’s annual budget and monitor its execution.
- Oversee and track the division’s risk management plan and selected project risks.
- Develop and implement professional and managerial training programs (including courses, workshops, leadership development, and professional enrichment sessions).
- Develop and execute the division’s knowledge management policy, including procedures, technological tools, and monitoring implementation.
- Initiate the creation of work procedures, policy documents, and operational guidelines through collaboration with department heads; ensure adherence and effective implementation.
- Lead the implementation of technological tools supporting the division’s activities (e.g., work plan management, budgeting, task tracking, and knowledge management).
- Perform additional ad-hoc assignments as required by the Division Director.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree – mandatory; Master’s degree – a significant advantage (preferably in Management, Information Systems, Economics, or Social Sciences).
- At least 5 years of proven managerial experience in cross-organizational roles involving work plan management, budgeting, policy, and control.
- Demonstrated experience working in a matrix environment with multiple interfaces, including senior management.
- Proven ability to lead complex organizational processes, including change management, implementation, and monitoring.
