We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to join our accounting team in Petah-Tikva. This is a critical role that will be actively involved in the day-to-day financial operations of our Israeli entity. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with a solid understanding of both IFRS and Israeli accounting principles. About The Team

You will be joining a highly collaborative and dynamic Global Accounting Team that plays a pivotal role in the company's success. While you will report directly to the Finance Manager in Israel, you'll be an integral part of our worldwide finance organization.

About The Role

As the accountant, you will be responsible for executing the daily financial operations of the Israeli entity, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the local general ledger. Specifically, your focus will be:

• Oversee the company’s subsidiaries, ensuring accurate financial management, compliance, and direct coordination with external accountants.
• Actively participate in the monthly financial close processes, including journal entries preparation, accruals, and intercompany transactions, in accordance with IFRS.
• Manage vendor invoices, ensure timely payments, and monitor cash balances and forecasts.
• Support annual statutory audits and assist in preparing financial statements and reports for the Israeli entity and subsidiaries.
• Ensure full compliance with Israeli tax regulations (VAT and corporate income tax), including preparation of Israeli tax reports and subsidiaries’ tax returns.
• Manage and control U.S. sales tax calculations and reporting (through Avalara).
• Provide financial analyses, respond to management inquiries, and support ad-hoc projects as needed.

The Skills And Qualities You’ll Bring Include:

• Certified Public Accountant- Must.
• 1-3 years of experience in a Staff Accountant or similar role, after an internship.
• Prior experience working at a large, global CPA firm (e.g., Big Four) is strongly preferred.
• Experience working with US-based companies.
• Experience with Israeli statutory reporting and tax compliance (e.g., VAT, corporate tax) is essential.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (experience with NetSuite is a plus).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Hebrew.
• A proactive and collaborative team player with a strong work ethic.
