We are seeking an expert analytical specialist to lead, coordinate, and perform one of our lead projects aimed at engineering and optimizing novel enzymatic multi-step processes for the precise production of high-value molecules.

About the role

This role is for a skilled and talented scientist to lead a project optimizing enzymatic multi-step processes. Responsibilities include developing and executing quality control assays and analytical methods, ensuring compliance with industry standards. We seek a responsible, goal-oriented team player who can work independently.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Plan, develop, and execute quality control and process control assays to support the R&D team
• Design Build and implement the Quality Control plan for Hyaluronic Acid production processes
• Lead development and optimization of analytical assays in collaboration with R&D team
• Conduct Quality Control assays in accordance with USP and EDQM (Ph. Eur.) guidelines
• Manage and oversee external vendors performing analytical and quality assays
• Present activities, progress, and achievements in various forms

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. degree with at least 5 years of work experience in the industry or M.Sc. with >7 years experience in relevant industry

Experience:

• Strong, hands‑on experience with HPLC (analytical, and method validation) - REQUIRED
• Proven experience in development of analytical methods - REQUIRED
• Proven experience in spectroscopic assays (UV‑Vis or fluorescence methods), FTIR and SEC-MALS analysis - ADVANTAGE
• Familiarity with biophysical characterization of biopolymers (preferably Hyaluronic Acid) - ADVANTAGE
• Experience with assay validation, documentation, and compliance with GMP or ISO 13485 standards - ADVANTAGE
• Understanding of polymer chemistry/biochemistry and related analytical methods - ADVANTAGE
