Robotics Integration Technician

One of our clients, a stealth-mode robotics startup, is looking to hire a Robotics Integration Technician to play a key role in building and deploying complex autonomous robotic systems.

This innovative company is developing full-stack robotic platforms for real-world environments, combining advanced mechanical engineering, embedded systems, computer vision, and cloud technologies. As they move from lab-scale prototypes to real-world deployments, they are expanding their integration team.

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and integrating mechanical, electronic, and computing components into functional robotic systems. You’ll work with embedded PCs, sensors, actuators, and networking tools, bringing together all subsystems into a fully functioning robotic platform. You will also support the installation and configuration of these systems in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble, wire, and integrate mechanical, electronic, and computing modules.
• Perform system bring-up and integration of sensors, motors, controllers, and embedded computing.
• Install and test robotic systems running Linux (Ubuntu), including network configuration and troubleshooting.
• Flash firmware, deploy software builds, and set up connectivity (SSH, Wi-Fi, LTE, IP tables).
• Write basic Bash or Python scripts to automate calibration and testing procedures.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software integration issues and document findings.
• Collaborate with engineers to support continuous integration and apply field feedback.

Requirements:

• Technical background (military or civilian) in electronics, computers, or robotics.
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience assembling or repairing electronic systems.
• Comfortable working in Linux command-line environments.
• Experience writing Bash or Python scripts for automation and testing tasks.
• Familiarity with flashing firmware, configuring drivers, and working with embedded controllers is a strong advantage.
• Ability to read technical documentation and follow structured integration processes.
