SAP Trainer

Mertens - MalamTeam is hiring a Senior SAP Trainer & Rollout Specialist to join a leading healthcare organization in the Tel Aviv area.

Focus: user training, onboarding, process enablement, adoption, documentation, UAT coordination, and day-to-day support in SAP FI (with exposure to CO-FM).

This is a training & rollout role — not a hands-on customizing/ABAP implementation position.

Role Overview

Join the Financial Processes & Information department (Accounting Division) as a senior trainer, key user, and rollout lead. You will deliver nationwide remote training, support end users (accountants, economists, CPAs), document processes and data flows, coordinate UAT, and drive adoption of new releases and enhancements in SAP Finance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and evaluate remote and on-site SAP trainings (FI focus) for diverse user groups.
• Serve as key user: guide day-to-day usage, best practices, and process adherence.
• Build and maintain training materials, SOPs, quick guides, and release notes.
• Coordinate UAT: draft test cases, run user testing sessions, collect feedback, validate fixes.
• Provide L1/L2 application support for FI and related flows; escalate issues when needed.
• Operate core FI activities and selected CO-FM tasks (as a power user), including data checks.
• Collaborate with the development team on process changes: requirements capture, sanity checks, regression validation (no customizing).
• Track adoption KPIs; lead enablement sessions and refreshers; mentor super-users across sites.

Requirements

• 3+ years leading SAP training/rollout and key-user activities — mandatory.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP FI end-to-end processes (e.g., AP/AR, GL, Assets, Banking) — mandatory.
• Familiarity with SAP CO-FM (Budget & Control) — advantage.
• Proven experience in UAT coordination, test scripts, and user documentation.
• Excellent instructional, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong analytical ability and understanding of finance workflows.
• Experience supporting large, multi-site organizations — advantage.
