Responsibilities

This is a broad cross-team role with high visibility. You will collaborate closely with multiple teams across Microsoft to deliver key customer solutions and the technology to support them.

• Lead end to end design, implementation and delivery of the future architecture for highly scalable, durable, low latency systems.
• Build an effective and agile development organization using industry leading best practices.
• Lead the definition of requirements, KPIs, priorities and planning of engineering deliverables.
• Proven team building experience as well as mentoring and growing team members.

Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent
• 12+ years of professional software development experience on high-scale cloud services
• Experience in server-side development, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and SOLID principles
• Independent, capable of making decisions in an ambiguous environment
• Hands-on experience in Machine Learning and Data Science

• Expertise in designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems capable of sustaining rapid growth
• Technical leadership experience in high-performing, agile teams
• Strong communication skills for cross-group collaboration and effective teamwork
