About the position:

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to lead and evolve our infrastructure, driving scalability, reliability, and automation across all environments. This role plays a key part in defining the technical strategy for our DevOps capabilities, optimizing developer experience, and ensuring our systems can handle millions of transactions per minute with maximum efficiency and security.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Technical Strategy: Define and implement the technical vision and roadmap for DevOps and Engineering operations, ensuring alignment across teams through shared patterns, tools, and best practices.
• Enhance Developer Experience: Continuously improve CI/CD pipelines, developer portals, and internal platforms to empower engineering teams to deliver high-quality software faster.
• Build and Scale Infrastructure: Design, deploy, and maintain production-grade infrastructure capable of processing millions of transactions per minute.
• Ensure System Resilience: Optimize for high availability, scalability, and cost efficiency, applying FinOps principles to maximize cloud performance and budget effectiveness.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with R&D, Tech Leads, and fellow DevOps engineers in an agile, fast-paced environment to enable seamless delivery processes.
• Drive Automation: Lead efforts in automation, infrastructure as code, and continuous integration/delivery to support consistent, reliable deployments.
• Monitor and Secure Systems: Implement and enhance observability, performance monitoring, and security practices to ensure stability and proactive incident management.
  
  

• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer in production environments.
• Infrastructure Expertise: Proven experience managing scalable, distributed, and production-ready systems handling 1M+ transactions per minute.
• Cloud Mastery: Strong experience with cloud providers (preferably AWS) and deep understanding of FinOps for cost optimization.
• Networking & CDN: Hands-on experience with Cloudflare for CDN, security, and performance tuning.
• Containers & Orchestration: Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure as Code: Skilled in Terraform and Ansible for automated infrastructure management.
• System Administration: Strong background in Linux/Windows operating systems and scripting (Python, Bash).
• CI/CD Tools: Experience with tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins for continuous integration and delivery.
• Messaging Systems: Understanding of middleware and messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or MSMQ.
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git and repository management tools (Bitbucket, GitHub).
  
  

• Databases: Practical experience with MsSQL and Redis.
• Observability: Knowledge of tools such as New Relic and Grafana.
• Systems Knowledge: Strong understanding of operating systems, networking, and distributed system design.
