The Software Engineer is responsible for researching, designing, developing, and testing software for the company’s test utilities. This role involves making high-level design decisions, setting technical standards, and ensuring long-term maintainability, extensibility, and testability of software solutions for Integra’s development testers and tools.

This role will be based in Haifa following our planned office relocation in 2026.

Responsibilities

Tester & Calibration systems development (100%)

• Lead software development for Testers & Calibration systems. Both internally and by subcontractors
• Gather and analyze requirements from system engineering or internal stakeholders.
• Design software components based on requirements, timelines, and implementation constraints.
• Develop software code following established guidelines and standards.
• Ensure software quality and alignment with system needs (unit testing, code reviews, defect fixing etc).
  
  

Qualifications / Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Exact Sciences, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Minimum 5 years of R&D experience in roles such as Software Engineer.
• Experience in the medical device industry is an advantage.
• Fluent in English
• Proficient in NI TestStand (versions TS3.5 and TS2019) - must
• Understanding of statistics, signal processing and physics - must
• Proficient in NI LabWindows CVI - must
• Proficient in ANSI C (C99) and C# must
• Experience with NI Developer Suite - an advantage
• Experience with MSSQL and/or other SQL servers - an advantage
• Basic understanding of VBA - an advantage
• Experience in creating OS images of Windows 7 and 10 - an advantage
• ADO and TFS –An advantage
