Microsoft Defender for Cloud is a cloud-native application protection platform (CNAPP) designed to protect cloud-based applications running in all major cloud providers, including cloud security posture management (CSPM) that finds weak spots across cloud configuration, helps strengthen the overall security posture and identify risk, and cloud workload protection (CWP) which identifies real-time attacks and helps the SOC respond and mitigate.

Responsibilities

Analyze customer and market signals to identify customers’ unmet or unknown needs and market opportunities for enhancements or development of multiple feature areas.

• Collaborate with others toidentifythe potential customer segments and investment opportunities. Evaluate tradeoffs, and prioritizes investments in consultation with cross-functional partner.
• Drive product areas end-to-end within Microsoft Defender for Cloud, including building vision and strategy,defineroadmap, help define business model and marketing messages and drive execution for successful results.
• Work closely and build trust with customers to help direct product roadmap and improve customer experience.
• Define features and own their backlog, works with Software Engineering (SWE) and design teams to align on tradeoffs, and partners with Product Marketing on the disclosure of the roadmap and outbound communication.
• Drive business impact across the organization and track success criteria and performance metrics. Be data driven with ongoing analysis of usage data.
• Communicate clearly about projects, risks, and accomplishments on behalf of the team.
• Guide and mentor other team members.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Product Manager.
• At least 5 years in a leading Enterprise product.

• Great listener - deep customer empathy and ability to identify customer needs
• Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills in English
• Proven track-record delivering software products/services to market.
• Strong attention to detail including proven ability to manage priorities.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Experienced working with customers
• Proven technical background and experience (preferred around containers and Kubernetes)– Advantage
• Strong security and cloud background – Advantage
• Container security background – Advantage
• Knowledge in architecture and design of scalable and high-performance Cloud services - Advantage
