Electrical Harness Drafter / Designer – UAV Systems

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Harness Drafter / Designer to join our R&D team.

The role involves creating, updating, and maintaining electrical harness drawings and documentation, as well as supporting production and integration activities.

Responsibilities

• Design and draft electrical harnesses and cable assemblies for UAV systems – from concept through production drawings.
• Update and maintain wiring diagrams, harness layouts, and related documentation according to design and configuration changes.
• Investigate and resolve electrical or documentation discrepancies.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, integration, and manufacturing teams, as well as wiring and production subcontractors.
• Ensure all designs meet technical, safety, and quality requirements.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or Practical Engineer in Electrical / Electronics Engineering.
• Solid understanding of electrical principles and ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Proven experience in electrical wiring or harness design for airborne systems (UAV or aviation background preferred).
• Proficiency in technical English (reading and writing).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentation.
• Fast learner with strong problem-solving abilities and initiative.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with VISIO, ALTIUM, or PDM systems – an advantage.
