What is the role?

We are seeking a passionate and experienced FS Team Lead to join our dynamic engineering team in our Tel Aviv office! As a full-stack team lead, you will be responsible for the overall development life cycle of complex projects that help mayors and other city leaders understand their citizens and their city in more effective ways, improving the lives of millions of citizens around the world. You’ll work to instill best practices for software development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules, while maintaining operational excellence. You’ll also work with product managers in developing a strategy and road map to provide compelling capabilities for local government stakeholders to gain insights about how their citizens view and use the city.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex software projects.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• 3+ years experience as a software engineer.
• 2+ years of experience managing teams of software engineers.
• Proficiency in Node.js, AWS, React, Posgres.
• Familiarity with Django, distributed systems, Kafka, Redis, JS, TS.
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Ability to thrive and succeed in a hyper-growth environment where priorities shift fast.
