Technical Officer - Aircraft Maintenance

Position: Technical Officer – Aircraft Maintenance and Upgrades Division

About the Role:

We are seeking a Technical Officer to join the Aircraft Conversion and Upgrades Plant within the Aviation Division. The role involves full professional and operational management of aircraft maintenance activities for the “Gideon” fleet at the Israeli Air Force base in Nevatim.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end maintenance operations for the Gideon aircraft fleet on-site at the Nevatim Air Force Base.
• Manage and supervise the maintenance team, ensuring operational and technical excellence.
• Achieve operational and business performance targets.
• Report directly to the Nevatim Site Manager.
• Collaborate closely with the Israeli Air Force, internal plant departments, suppliers, and customers.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. degree or Practical Engineer diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 12 years of experience in the Israeli Air Force’s technical division (shorter experience may also be considered).
• Proven experience as a Technical Officer in a flight squadron or Maintenance Squadron Team Leader (or equivalent role).
• Demonstrated experience managing teams of 25 employees or more.
• Strong skills in technical fault analysis and troubleshooting.
• Willingness to work non-standard hours, including weekends on rotation.
