Founding Engineer

We’re a newly funded, stealth-mode startup at the intersection of AI and cybersecurity. Our mission is to help organizations move fast with AI—without compromising security. As one of our first engineers, you’ll shape the product, architecture, and engineering culture from day one.

The Role

This is a hands-on founding role blending deep individual contribution with broad technical leadership. You’ll design, build, and scale core systems, own end-to-end initiatives, and partner with the founders and early design partners to ship real value quickly.

What you'll do

• Own your work: Design and build core product components, services, and data/decisioning pipelines; pick pragmatic architectures and iterate fast.
• Algorithmic engine: Collaborate with researchers and engineers to implement a cutting-edge, complex algorithmic component that makes time-critical decisions under real-world constraints.
• Backend & platform: Lead a Python-based backend and AWS/EKS stack to deliver a high-scale, reliable platform.
• Ship the platform: Stand up CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, observability (profiling, tracing, telemetry), For a resilient and secure product.
• Raise the bar: Help define and improve  engineering conventions and standards; mentor others and help solve the hardest problems.
• Action oriented: short cycles, metrics for learning, fast retrospectives.
• High trust, high ownership: clear problem framing; autonomy in execution; frequent customer touch points.

What you'll bring

• 6+ years building production software (full-stack or backend-leaning), with ownership of complex projects.
• Strong systems thinking and product sense—you balance correctness, risk, and speed at seed stage.
• Fluency with AWS, containers (Docker), Kubernetes/EKS, and system architecture.
• Proven experience with CI/CD, testing, and observability practices.
• Independent, owner’s mindset with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable in a dynamic, early-stage environment; positive attitude and curiosity.
• Availability to work from our Tel Aviv office ~4 days/week.
