Operations Manager

We're hiring an experienced Operations Manager to lead internal logistics operations at Dan's central distribution hub. This role involves managing cross-functional processes across safety, IT, transportation, procurement, security, maintenance, and automated warehouse systems.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Member of the logistics center's executive leadership team
• Managing teams and department heads, including training, certification, and personal development
• Defining and enforcing operational procedures and workflows
• Leading continuous improvement initiatives and SLA processes for internal and external stakeholders
• Overseeing all operational projects, including supplier coordination and supervision
• Managing and monitoring the logistics center's operational and investment budgets
• Active participation in HACCP and quality assurance forums

🎓 Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or Management preferred) – required
• Master’s degree – advantage
• Mechanical engineering diploma – advantage
• Experience with SAP – advantage
• Proven track record in managing complex construction projects – strong advantage
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing large teams – required
• Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse/distribution/operations/procurement/safety management – required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office – required
• Experience with quality management systems (Sequence), Business Object, Action Base, and EWM – significant advantage
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• High analytical capabilities
• Fluent in English – speaking, writing, and reading
• Ability to lead complex processes and analyze business workflows
