Cloud Specialist

Mertens - MalamTeam is hiring an experienced Cloud Security Implementation Specialist to join a leading organization in the Gush Dan area.

Position Overview

As part of the organization’s cybersecurity operations, you will be responsible for managing access, identities, and security infrastructure in cloud environments. The role includes daily operation of security tools, handling security findings, integrating new systems, decommissioning legacy ones, and collaborating with DevOps, Cloud, and Security teams to ensure continuous compliance and protection.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and implement cloud security solutions across multiple environments.
• Manage security findings and ensure continuous improvement of security posture.
• Integrate new systems and decommission outdated technologies safely and efficiently.
• Administer access and identity management (SSO portals) – adding/removing applications, troubleshooting access issues.
• Conduct monitoring, alert handling, and incident response activities.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell) for operational tasks.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, and Security teams to strengthen cloud infrastructure security.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in operating cloud security systems.
• Proven hands-on experience with AWS environments.
• Practical experience with Cloud Posture Management tools (finding management, investigation, validation).
• Operational experience managing SSO portals – application onboarding/offboarding, troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of monitoring, alert management, and security improvement processes.
• PowerShell scripting skills for automation and operational workflows.
• Experience collaborating with DevOps/Cloud and InfoSec teams.

Advantages:

• Experience with Azure or GCP environments.
• Scripting knowledge in Bash or additional programming languages.
• Relevant security or cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Security, Azure Security Engineer, CISSP, CCSP).
